The Catherine Cheater Schemes of Work have been developed in response to the requests for guidance in the teaching of languages at KS2 and following the award-winning and highly successful Schemes of Work for French, we present the Spanish Schemes for Year 3 and Year 4. Written by Steve Haworth, an experienced teacher with an international reputation in modern languages training, this Spanish version follows the familiar methodology developed by Catherine Cheater and helps teachers to meet the learning objectives for the Key Stage 2 Framework for Languages, including guidance for non-specialists.

With carefully selected authentic resources at the core, the Schemes of Work will positively support and help teachers to introduce Hispanic language and culture into the classroom.

In September 2009, the Year 4 Scheme of Work and the accompanying Book Pack and Additional resources will be available.
